M28 need a career change

I’ve been a bartender for 8 years and have spent the last couple of years bartending and making full menu’s/consulting unofficially for some of my workplaces. Picking up a lot of soft skills and an encyclopedia of knowledge in the specific realm of alcohol along the way.

While I enjoy it for many reasons, the general lack of structure in the industry, no benefits or any real wealth-building tools, and my increasing lack of desire to drink and/or be around drunk people have my burnout reaching peak levels.

What can someone like me do to stay on top of a mortgage and not feel like I’m taking a step back in life? I’m not averse to putting in work towards certifications or the like, I just don’t know what to even begin to look in to. I’d like to target $100k annually as a relatively short term goal. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-5 years while keeping my head above the financial waters en process. Any advice is appreciated, thank you for your time!
