Wooden bathroom floor in rented house, what is best the best solution?

Hi everyone,

I'm moving into a rented house and the bathroom has original wooden floorboards. As a tenant I can't make any permanent modifications, so I'm looking for the best solution for this, or what could be the best removable flooring solution to protect the wood from water damage?

The bathroom is small (roughly 5m²) and has a bathtub. I'm thinking loose lay vinyl but not sure what works best in a bathroom with humidity, I have also never done anything like this so I don't know if the planks would trap the moisture instead...

Has anyone dealt with this before? Any product recommendations or tips would be appreciated!

Thanks!
