Baby cottontail in garage!
Hi all! Sorry for the poor photo but it’s the best I can get at the time. Yesterday I unfortunately found a young rabbit that was deceased in my garage. It was right by the garage door. I’m still not sure how he got in or what caused his demise. He didn’t show any signs of trauma or injury otherwise. He got placed in a box and had a nice burial. Then today I get home from work and saw this little guy’s tail diving behind some chairs! I’m not sure what to do now or if there are other bunnies in my garage. I’ve had the garage door open for the past hour for it to leave if it wants but it hasn’t left the area. Should I place it outside? Or just leave it be? I live in a neighborhood so I can’t leave my garage open all night. Thank you for any input!
