Are there people who have been accepted into the Rhetoric major at Berkeley or any other UC / College and who had never before participated in Mock Trial or Debate Club. I know that being in mock trial and debate shows demonstration of high interest in rhetoric but my child is now interested in rhetoric as a field of study but has no prior mock triasl/debate club experience,
