Gold investment okayed?
Lately, I’ve been thinking of expanding my money portfolio. I already have 3x worth of emergency fund, small portion of travel fund, and a growing investment fund (put in a high-yield savings account except the EF). I feel like I’m just letting my savings sit in without diversifying it in other things. which got me thinking “what if maginvest ako sa gold”?
Is it even worth it to invest in a gold jewelry now? Or should I just buy a bullion in the future? (more liquid and easier to buy & sell at fair market value) or maybe NOT?
IS it true it serves as a hedge against inflation? volatile?
Context: I’m still a student who is terrified of having negative savings and cashflow, that’s why I always look for ways to invest my money lol
