Tried Monetag after AdSense issues… now my website shows weird 18+ ads and redirects 💀
Need some advice about Monetag ads. Is this normal?
So i saw few Reddit posts recommending Monetag and decided to try it on my website. Got approved fast and added their Multitag ads.
But after enabling it, my site literally started showing n*de/sex ads and weird gambling type ads. Even worse, if someone clicks any button or navigation link on my site, it first redirects to some random shady website before opening the actual page.
My website honestly started looking like some piracy/movie download site 😭
I got scared and immediately removed the code from my project and redeployed the site.
What confused me more is i couldn’t even find proper options in Monetag dashboard to pause ads or control what kind of ads are shown. Maybe i missed something idk.
Is this how Monetag normally works? Or did i configure something wrong?
Also if anyone has better ad network recommendations for normal websites please suggest.
For context, my site was already approved by AdSense before and i even made around $10 there. But later Google asked for identity verification, i submitted everything, then got “verification failed” with no proper reason. Tried contacting support many times for months and got no response, so i moved to Monetag out of frustration.
Now this happened and honestly idk what to do anymore.
