What do I do
My wife and I recently bought a bearded dragon from Petco. We’ve had it for a week now. We have a 112 gal, plenty of hiding spots, temperatures are correct, I don’t think there is anything to improve inside of its enclosure besides switching from turf carpet to actual substrate. The first day he was instantly eating from the tongs and did so for the first 5 days. All of a sudden he hasn’t eaten in the past 48 hours.
The day before he stopped eating, he had an enormous meal so I figured the first day he didn’t eat that he was just full. He’s been extra skittish also, nearly running away anytime my hand is close for more than a couple of seconds. he won’t eat crickets and when I place veggies in front of him all he does is lick them then backs away. I was afraid of impaction because of the large meal but he’s pooped 3 times in the past 48 hours and they’re all solid.
