UK visit visa query - family ties
I’m planning to apply for visitor visas for my parents (Pakistan Nationals) this month so they can attend my son’s first birthday. Unfortunately, their previous four applications have been refused, mainly on grounds such as insufficient evidence of family ties and concerns about whether they are genuine visitors.
I’m currently unsure how best to demonstrate strong family ties in a new application. In the past, I provided a Family Registration Certificate (FRC) showing our full family structure along with ID details of each family members (my brother, sister, inlaw etc), as well as evidence of my younger brother living with my parents in Pakistan (including his university registration and supporting letter from Uni showing my bro is a current student).
However, one of the concerns raised in the refusal was about why myself (as UK citizen) being reflected in the FRC and along with comments that there wasn’t sufficient clarity on extended family ties or their overall circumstances/whereabouts in Pakistan.
At this stage, I’m uncertain what additional or stronger evidence I can provide to address these concerns. One option I’m considering is applying for my mother’s visa first, showing that my father will remain in Pakistan, and then applying for my father later hoping this might strengthen the case in terms of family ties.
I would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions from anyone who has been in a similar situation and later on secured a successful visitor visa.
