Uw is unsafe and unhelpful

On the context of safety at uw I want to bring up a situation that although happened last spring still bothers me. I used to go to the hub and do work in the main area by the fire place and one time I saw an older man like 40’s with a hat and sunglasses on sitting and taking a video of a young girl who was sleeping. It went on for like 20 minutes and I reported him to hub staff and they said because it was a public building they can’t do anything about it. I saw him several times after this always in the same chair either videoing girls or looking at girls in bikinis on his phone. I reported him several times and the hub workers eventually said uw police would come but they never did. I am still very annoyed by this and I stopped going to the hub so idk if he still goes there any more. Just because a space is public doesn’t give permission for old men to come and be creepy, uw should not allow it, and there should be measures of safety in these more public buildings.

Could anyone give some insight into what Greek life is like at uw? I’m an incoming freshman who is from Florida and I don’t know anyone who goes here. I can’t find a lot of information about it online. Some questions I have are…
-is rush as stressful as it is at some schools?
-is living in the house for so long terrible?
-are girls mean? lol
-are the parties big? Is there a lot of pressure to go out or is it more chill
-does house/tier really make a difference?
Would appreciate any insight good or bad, just curious what I am getting into
