Grenoble in spring for 1 month (for work)
Hi everyone,
I will be spending a month in Grenoble for work soon (around spring). It will be my first time staying in France, so I have a few questions and would love to get some local insight!
- Which apps are a must-have for getting around and daily life? (Specifically for public transport or food/delivery).
- Is Airbnb a good option for a 1-month stay, or would you recommend looking into a hotel room?
- Which areas are great to stay in (safe, well-connected by tram)? Any specific areas I should rather avoid? (Workplace will be in the area of CEA)
- What are your favourite weekend activity recommendations in or around Grenoble (without a car)? Also, any nice spots to hang out or eat in the evenings after work?
- How well can I get by with English in daily life (grocery shopping, restaurants, public transport,...)?
Thanks a lot for your help! Looking forward to exploring your city.
