Cortisone injection
Today I had my first cortisone injection for a L4-5 disc bulge that was sitting on my nerve root on my right side. I got it done around 7:30 a.m, and currently it is 9:18 p.m, and I’m having a little bit of pain on my right side of my lower back into my hip and thigh areas. I hope that is normal and okay? It kinda feels like nerve pain.
I’m hoping this injection helps with my chronic pain I’ve been having for years now that doctors ignored, told me I’m fine without doing anything other than a CT scan. I injured my back in 2022, the bulge never fixed itself so now it gets inflamed every once and a while and causes muscle spasms so bad I can’t get myself up out of bed, or even sit up.
