How can I deposit my money from a distributor who’s no longer active…kind of a weird long story
I’ll try to keep this brief and straightforward as possible but pretty much when I was 15 years lord I was “signed”to this small indie record label and I didn’t know anything about how to release music or how anything works. I’m with this label for a few years and released a lot of music with them and never saw a penny. Some Time goes by and I leave the label after realizing it wasn’t the right fit for me and I had severely stunted my growth as an artist by working with them. ANYWAYS they used a distributor called “In grooves” to distribute my music which I believe is no longer available anymore to access. There was never any conversation on how I could go about redeeming my royalties from streams and the guy that ran the label was not the easiest to talk to about money and I have no interest in contacting him unless I absolutely have to. I really want to get my money from my music! There’s at least a couple thousand dollars just sitting and I’m hoping somebody on here could give me some advice on what to do. Let me know! Thank you :)
