Lune, and the death of integrity.

For months now, I have had a post sitting in my drafts that asks about the hate for Lysander.

I can understand a troubled villain, and I still wholly believe he is a character written incomparably well, but I kept seeing posts saying he’s a pixie or a cur or any other of a variety of insults.

This made me confused - why take your hate for a man outside of the media that causes you to hate him? A beautifully written demon is still beautiful, no?

Anyway, I am on chapter 87 of Light Bringer. In fact, the book is currently in front of me and open to page 658 (>!orbital strikes during Nivalnight!<), and I can now confidently say the following with all of the past 11 years of my consumption of Red Rising:

Fuck. Lysander.
