Blood pressure spikes at night

I’ve recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure, I’m a 24 year old female, to be diagnosed I was unknowingly having a hypertensive crisis for maybe a couple of days was unable to sleep for 3 days because of the feeling of my heart in my chest(at that time not knowing what it was) finally went to the hospital and was at 189/90 in hospital, I’ve had bloods done everything from them came back fine, I’ve had a heart monitor but the results not back yet. I’ve been prescribed bp medication 2.5mg, been eating perfectly changed my diet overnight because of how horrible the high bp felt and going for at least 20-40 minutes of walking everyday. I’ve been keeping a bp diary and generally my bp has been good for me 130-140 range which I think Is good within the first 2 weeks, however every few days between 10pm-12pm my blood pressure has spiked to 150-160 and resting heart rate 120 while sat down and I can feel it that’s why I check it, but I have no idea why it’s doing this it’s happened 3 times now, the first 2 I thought it was because I was taking ibuprofen for pain relief and for inflammation (I have spinal disc problems) and saw that it not advised to take both medications so I stopped but it’s happened a third time now the bp spike but I’ve not taken anything or done pretty much anything different. I’ve not got an appointment with the doctors till the end of the month so was just seeing if anyone on here could give me any insight on this or if it’s normal with only been on the bp medication for a couple weeks.
