Xiaomi electric scooter 5 battery issue.
I have bought it new one year ago.
Used it for a few months, and it could last me a week with one charge. I just used it to get to my workplace. It would get some decent distance, with around 45 km per charge.
But then, rainy and cold season had started, and I've decided to park it for a few months. It was fully charged, and I would charge it again a few times, as it was the recommendation I've heard from my friend that has some experience with e scooters.
And then, I've pulled it out on a first good day. It's battery was reduced to around 25 km or so. After one more charge it was the same.
Of course, I did pullnout the warranty, and it was accepted. What I've noticed after it returned was very messy work from the service, and it said the battery was replaced. They actually have replaced a few cells and the battery was the same.
Now it works a bit better and can get me around 36 km. But I wonder if the real drop of battery is supposed to be that much. It went around 500 km in total wolith pnly 15 cycles of charging. I would guess that roughly only a few percents of the battery would be lost.
Can you give me your opinions? I will activate the warranty again, but I have no prior experiences with e scooter batteries.
