Seeking a Skilled Software Developer for NetSuite and Integrations Work
so I do NetSuite/ERP consulting for a handful of clients (couple bigger names, some Coupa admin work mixed in too) and honestly I'm at the point where I could use another set of hands, but I'm not looking for someone who already knows NetSuite inside and out. I'd rather find someone genuinely sharp on the software dev side and just train them up on the NetSuite specific stuff myself.
what actually matters to me, solid fundamentals. you know how to write clean code, you're comfortable with APIs, you're not afraid to build something that connects two systems together (node, python, whatever). if you've got that foundation, I can teach you SuiteScript, governance limits, all the NetSuite quirks, that part's honestly the easier half to pick up if you're already a decent developer.
what I can't really teach from scratch is good engineering instinct, how you think through a problem, how you handle stuff breaking, whether you write code that's actually maintainable. that's what I'm looking for.
to keep this efficient for both of us, I'll send a short practical test to anyone who reaches out, nothing crazy, just enough to see how you actually think through a problem. if you're confident in your fundamentals, this should be quick and kind of fun.
