Does anyone have much luck with re-roasting?

I’m planning on jumping on board the souper cube gravy train. But my main goal is to make veggie based side dishes to increase my veggie intake. Currently, I rely too heavily on air frying carbs and chicken.

What I’m hoping to do is gather a few oven roasted vege recipes (roast veg, cauliflower cheese, tian) freeze them and then pop them in a mini bar loaf tin in the airfryer.

Before I spend big - does anyone have any success stories with this method? Or any potential recipes?

Thanks so much!

Marking - how is this normalised?

I’m three years in and hitting a large and jaded coloured wall. I just cannot believe the level of work we’re expected to do. High School English in NSW.

I’ve calculated and I will have marked over 550 essays/exams by the end of the year and that’s assessments only. Not including all the drafts and formative tasks. It works out to be about 6 hours a week - every 52 weeks of the year. And that doesn’t include the various (and somewhat unnecessary or useless) benchmarking meetings we need to go to for each task.

I don’t see how this is manageable and I also don’t see how we just accept this? I get English might be more than other subjects and the fool I am for picking the subject. But I don’t understand how one of the biggest employers in the state lies comfortably resting on the back of so much unpaid labour (not just marking) and that’s not only totally legal and fine, but also who am I to complain because ‘think of the kids’ and that’s what I signed up for. Yes, because EDUC1001 at uni was primarily focused on the many nuanced ways an educator loses all but a modicum of sanity by week 6.

Doesn’t help that my management is about as supportive as a pair of gelatine crutches.

Everyone says it gets easier. I think maybe you just lose the life you once had and it’s far easier for this relentlessly ravenous and unsatiated job to find its home in all that’s left of you.

Rant aside - does it get any greener than this? Have you found schools where marking assessments isn’t the administrative equivalent of respiration?

Godspeed out there tomorrow.

I can’t get rid of these marks

I’ve scrubbed. I’ve vinegar rinsed. I can’t get rid of them. I think it actually happened when I put vinegar in the pan when it was too hot. It spattered and hissed and now I’ve got these blackish marks I can’t get rid of. I’m relatively new to stainless steel so any advice would be much appreciated
