Metformin and Weight Loss

I was diagnosed with PCOS/PMOS nearly 2 decades agobut I thought it just affected my periods.

As a woman who is 30kg+ overweight, and struggled to lose it despite trying since a teenager, I am now learning PCOS/PMOS could also be responsible for my hanger, food relationship struggles, need to afternoon nap as well as the struggle to losd excess weight.

I can't afford GLP-1 but have been prescribed 1500mg Metformin. I've now been on it a week and cant believe how much impact its having....no more ravenous hunger out of no where or having constant desire to eat if food is around. I eat slower to.

I am hopefuly this might actually be tje statt of a healthy and succeasful weight loss journey. Im looking for tips that actually work for women like me as the typical rhetoric to eat low cal and do lots of exercise does not seem to work.

I am trying to ebike and walk daily and to have a lot of protein.

AI tells me lositng the first 10% of body weight with PCOS/PMOS is the hardest but once your in the swing of it that next 20kg or so should be easier. Is this true??

TIA
