(Tbh they’d probably do an Until Dawn collab before even thinking of a Quarry collab but this would be a fun discussion)

So, i don’t really play DBD, but i have a friend who loves both DBD and The Quarry, and he once mentioned about whether it’s possible for The Quarry to come to DBD. Considering that Supermassive have already made a collab with DBD in The Casting of Frank Stone (as much as I disliked that game, it was a cool collab and makes me want more, also have they actually added in “The Champion/Frank Stone” killer yet…?)

This got me thinking about how a Quarry update would go, and I have a few ideas.

So I know that they usually only bring in one killer and one survivor, but for these packs it makes more sense to have two survivors (like the Stranger Things pack having Steve “The Hair” Harrington and Nancy in the same update).

The main two ideas I had for it are:

1:
Survivors: Ryan and Laura
Killer: Chris Hackett

2:
Survivors: Dylan and Kaitlyn
Killer: Caleb Hackett

3:
Imagine one where the survivors are Laura and Max and the killer is Travis, where it’s literally just call of duty for the killer as they have to shoot the survivors to stun them so he can kill them to avoid the secrets of Hackett’s Quarry coming out /j

There’s be skins for each character with their 80s and 50s outfits, along with exclusive ones for Laura in her chapter 7 outfit, chapter 8-9 outfit and the chapter 10 with Constance’s dress (although if I had to pick one exclusive outfit for her I’d choose the chapter 8-9 one)

Tbh since the werewolves are basically the same with no unique abilities it’s probably best to have the werewolves be a single killer with Chris, Caleb and Silas as skins for the killer. One thing they could change other than their appearance is change their mori, like:

Chris - Grabs a sawed off shotgun from out of nowhere, or the survivors crawls to one on the floor and grabs it but Chris takes it from them, pins the survivor down and bashes their skull in with the blunt end of the gun Ryan style.

Caleb - Probably do something similar to in the lodge where he’ll grab them by the throat, and slam them to the floor multiple times.

Silas - Again, do it Ryan style by removing their jaw and ripping their insides out.

Another thing that could be unique to Silas (or all the werewolves have it) is have Eliza whisper to you to kill them all, similar to Jason’s mother talking to him in the Friday the 13th game.

Is there any other survivors or killers you’d think fit the update instead? Like Jacob and Emma, or Emma and Abi, or even a solo survivor like Laura?

Doesn’t have to be in any order, mine won’t be but it would be cool to hear your favourites. Also doesn’t have to be the goriest or the most brutal, just your favourites.

You can also add honourable mentions too.

Also multi kills count, such as Chris killing Constance, Bobby and Jedediah in the massacre will be considered a single death altogether.

Also also vice versa kills can count as a single death too (for example Caleb killing Kaitlyn or Kaitlyn killing Caleb in the lodge during the final silver shell moment can count as one)

Constance getting shot in the head - had to put this here, it’s such a shock for new players

Abi getting decapitated by Nick - a turning point and pivotal moment for the characters if you get this death

Silas killing the three when Laura hesitates to shoot - the brutality of Silas quickly decapitating Laura and Travis, then de-jawing Ryan and ripping his insides out was so horrifyingly well done to rub it in the players face that they made the wrong choice

Chris getting shot by Ryan/Ryan getting his face bashed in by Chris (+Laura and Travis killing each other) - I love the kill or be killed section here, and Chris killing Ryan is so horrifying when looking at the aftermath in the epilogue but Ryan killing Chris is a turning point for his character, shame they didn’t do anything with it. Also when the epilogue says “the camp leader he looked up to” and “his favourite counsellor” for either death breaks my heart since they can’t survive together

Jacob getting killed by Chris (specifically the snare trap) - any death by Chris can fit this one here because I love this entire section as I wish choices that characters made affects other storylines, in this case Ryan not shooting Chris affected Jacob’s storyline and he gets chased by Chris), but my personal favourite is the snare trap as we see Chris rip Jacob in half.

Honourable mentions:
Jacob drowning, Bobby stabbing Ryan, Caleb dragging Kaitlyn into the freezer - literal troll deaths it’s amazing

Emma dying to Max - specifically opening the trapdoor as that’s our first actual look at the werewolves (since during the Abi chase they’re barely visible), but they give us a good idea on what the counsellors are up against.

Emma falling to her death on the rock - The Hunted playing right after watching her break her back honestly made me laugh.

Dylan/Kaitlyn dying in the scrapyard - Miles and Brenda did incredibly well with these deaths.

Killing Silas or Caleb - Gives a hopeful resolution to a horrifying night

“You’re a fucker.”

“I’m not gonna fuck a bear.”
