How long does the luminescence last on your no date Submariner ?
I bought a VSF no date Submariner from Luxrepwatches four days ago. I’ve recently been interested in its luminescence performance, so I conducted the following DIY test:
I used a powerful flashlight to charge the dial’s luminescence for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 30 minutes
After charging, I turned off all light sources in the room and closed the curtains
I then began observing the dial’s luminescence
The results showed that after 5 minutes of charging, the luminescence remained visible for about 9 minutes before gradually fading until it was no longer legible. After 10 and 30 minutes of charging, the hands became indistinguishable after about 13 minutes. I’m personally quite satisfied with this performance. I’ve heard that genuine models can maintain their luminescence for several hours, how long does the luminescence on your watch last?
