If Canada had stayed on its same trajectory from 2014 onwards, what would be the difference?
I'm curious to see what you guys think would have been different if Trudeau had lost in 2015 and we continued on our same trajectory from 2014 with the CPC government.
I personally believe our net migration would be much lower, crime would be lower, housing would be lower, our dollar would be stronger, inflation would be lower, bail reform would have never happened and criminals would still be held in prisons.
I think we would have done better through the pandemic and our relationship with the U.S would be better (tariffs likely never would have happened).
But I believe we still would have got too much migration driven by corporations for wage stagnation and globalist influences. Housing would probably have still gone up to some degree and we would be dealing with some of the same challenges.
I'm thinking Canada would have continued to keep pace with the U.S at least on industrial growth and GDP per capita though.
What do you guys think?
