Does anyone have any advice on 8x42 binoculars for stargazing?
My situation is a bit different; I already own the Nikon M7 10x42 ED, Nikon M5 12x42 ED, Delta Optical Forest Gen3 10x42 ED, and Delta Optical Forest Gen3 12x50 ED, and now I’m really torn about whether to round out the collection with the Delta Optical Forest Gen3 8x42 ED. All the ones I own are excellent for both stargazing and daytime activities, but I keep wondering if the Delta 8x42—with its wide 8.1° field of view—might be the missing piece. Does anyone have any advice?
