Hey everyone. I (21F) have an internship this summer coming up (need to be in the city from about May 30-Aug 8, my office will be in the West Loop, prefer a private room with access to a kitchen and bathroom, would also prefer laundry, no more than 1.5k a month) and though I am able to afford housing, I have an issue with the amounts that are asked up front (usually full months rent or even more) I do not have that much saved up, I only really have enough to travel and move in. Are there any options to look at that charge you one big bill after the summer to pay? Or charge you half way through? Or options with a long term payment plan? I have been considering something like Klarna or Paypal monthly. I don't care if it has interest or anything, I know i'll be able to pay but only after I actually make money from the internship.
Just wondering if there are any housing options, especially for student interns, that match my wishes. Thanks!
