How long is GRANTED status stuck Acceptable
Hi All,
I applied early May 2026 via VFS to the CGI NYC. Adult 1st time OCI with clean background and no complications
VFS took some unnecessary extra time and forwarded to CGI on May 15th. I saw granted status on June 3rd afternoon (likely just turning June 4th in India time)
Last 4 to 5 days its stuck at GRANTED and not graduating to PRINTED/ DISPATCHED etc. No new lines of OCI number etc. have showed up either
How long can this be normal? I have read online that if they have an issue with the photo/ signature, they are poor in communicating and one can wait weeks and months!
