Some kind of alternate reality or parallel universe? I’m just confused because if the loop has no beginning and has been continuous then how can there ever be some kind of future where Babylon 5 gets destroyed?

I just rewatched Signs and Portents. I may be dumb, but who is Kosh referring to here?

I thought it was the Centauri at first, but obviously they were for him.

Why couldn’t Londo see anything when Kosh revealed himself?

I didn’t really understand this even after finishing the show. Was it all Centauri or just him, and why was he excluded?

What do you think is the funniest moment in the series?

A more lighthearted question after the dark moments one. Mine is the elevator scene from Convictions, everything about it is so iconic.

What’s your favorite ‘dark’ moment from the series?

Lord Refa’s (deserved) death is my pick, and the upbeat gospel music somehow makes it even darker

How come the Interstellar Alliance HQ didn’t just remain on Babylon 5? Wouldn’t it have made more sense to have it in a neutral location rather than on Minbar?

Babylon 5’s original intent after all was to foster peaceful coexistence between species. It seemed to work out well when the alliance was first formed and meetings were held there, especially since independence had been declared and the station was no longer run by Earth. Plus that way Babylon 5 doesn’t get blown up.

Also, having it on Minbar just seems like a recipe for hegemony claims.

Sorry I may just be slow, but this solution in Point of No Return confuses me

So I get his point that the political office can’t give direct orders but… hasn’t it happened multiple times already? Especially in Season 1, Senators would literally give Sinclair direct orders that he had to follow and never said they came from higher-ups. Was this just the first time anyone called them out on it, or was there some other reason it’s not allowed in this case but allowed in other cases?

So how come Sheridan faking a distress call to mine an asteroid field and nuke the Black Star is seen as dishonorable, but the Black Star trying to hunt down and finish off a distressed and defenseless ship in the first place isn’t?

Why was everyone such a jerk to Lyta?

I get she was a telepath but even after basically becoming a war hero no one wanted anything to do with her and treated her like crap. I don’t even blame her for joining with Byron.

Question about Sinclair’s vision

So in Signs and Portents, that seer Centauri lady shows Sinclair the destruction of Babylon 5. But was that supposed to represent the decommissioning that happens in S5 or was it some kind of alternate reality that didn’t happen? Sinclair also asks if it’s something that will or might happen, and the seer says something along the lines of “we make our own destiny”, which makes me think it could be an AU. I don’t know, how did you interpret it?

So what exactly were these guy’s problem?

I never really understood who they were working for or what they were hoping to accomplish, or even much of what they were trying to prove besides that Sinclair had betrayed Earth somehow. The episode makes it sound like they were working for some super important organization doing super important work that was never brought up again.

So is passing “Beyond the Rim” what happens to everyone after they die, or is it a privilege reserved for certain people?

Obviously Lorien says that he looks forward to when the humans join the First Ones “beyond the rim” (when they are no longer a younger race) but he also brought Sheridan there way before that. Is everyone brought there after they die or is it just special people?

The other two seem self-explanatory (I’m sure they all are and I’m just also) but who is “the one that is already dead”?
