I’m planning on travelling from Mexico to Peru (at least) starting at the end of June. I’ll range in climates from city stays and jungles to treks like Acetenango and Salkantay. I’m trying to decide on a waterproof jacket to take to try and last me between rainy showers to these bigger hikes. I know I’m best off layering so just need a breathable waterproof I guess. Very budget backpacker so cheaper the better that can still do the job. Most likely looking to purchase second hand. Any recommendations would be great.
