Ochem section DAT

I’ve been hearing that the Ochem section of the DAT Is different from Bootcamp bc of the updates ADA made. What should I expect? I’m worried it’ll catch me by surprise.

WHY IS EVERYONES DAT SCORE SO HIGH 😩😩😩

I swear everyone these days has a 450+. Texas school averages for the DAT are 470+. I thought 420 was good 😣. Im so worried for the app season I feel like everyone has such high dat scores that it’s so hard to be differentiated.

I want to go to usc rly bad but prices are insane

How are so many ppl ok with going to usc?? I want to go SO bad but I can’t do that much debt. I think my parents can cover around 300k but that’s it. I’m so conflicted if I should even apply. Bc I don’t wanna waste money for the application and imagine I get an interview (more $ to fly there and stay) and then get accepted even… what would the point be? Just so conflicted.

So bad at interviews.

Idk if it’s because I’m nervous, but i genuinely feel like I cannot speak. I blank on what to say and even if I don’t, I have trouble articulating my thoughts into words. I just did a Kira assessment and it went TERRIBLY. Does anyone have any advice on how to improve interviewing? I practiced but tbh didn’t feel like I’m getting any better. I feel like this will definitely impact my acceptances because even though I have good stats, I am terrible at interviewing.

Any low stat applicants get into TX schools?

I have a 3.8 Gpa, 3.9 BCPM, but a 430 AA DAT. do I have a good chance at houston or TAMU? The rest of my app is mid, but good shadowing hours. I want to have a pretty secure chance at these schools, as I cannot afford out of state. And I don’t want to take a gap year. I rlyyy don’t wanna have to take my DAT But if I have to I will. I’m so stressed. Help

Please help!!! Should I retake my DAT???

I took this in 2025, and just applied this cycle. But I’m second guessing my dat and want to make sure I get into a TX school. My Tx gpa is 3.8 and Sgpa is a 3.9. My essays r lowkey mid. Ugh idk I’m so scared. Shld I retake it but not tell them that I’m retaking it? Since ik applying early is important and I already did that. And I’m worried I’ll study for a month or two and not be getting better scores.
I also am worried about throwing another summer down the drain to study for this. But also I have nothing else to do ig.
Out of state, I’m applying broadly but like to 10 schools. I rly don’t wanna pay out of state tuition tho. If I do go out of state, I’d prob want to be in a good city.

Can I study for the dat in one month?

I took my DAT last summer and a lot of the material is familiar to me, but I forgot and have to re- learn/ practice. I got a 430AA and want to retake only if I do better on practice exams. Is this possible Ina. Month? I want to take it by July to apply.

Can I get into Texas schools/ USC w these stats?

I have a 3.8 gpa 3.7 Sgpa, 430 AA and 440 TS. what are my chances at the Texas schools (in state) and usc??? I have 300+ shadowing hours, 200+ volunteering, a good amount of working, and a few extracurriculars. I can retake my dat but I’m honestly dreading studying for it AGAIN and I prob wouldn’t take it until July. Shld I retake to increase my chances,
