Hi everyone,
I’m a BTech 2025 IT graduate actively looking for internship or entry-level opportunities in strategy, product, or consulting roles (remote or India-based).
I’m trying to transition towards roles involving:
I’ve completed a few internships during my college journey and can share details of my work experience if needed.
I’m currently building my skills in:
I’m highly motivated to learn and contribute in fast-paced environments, especially startups or teams where I can get exposure to real business problems.
If anyone is aware of openings, referrals, or can guide me on breaking into strategy roles from an IT background, I would really appreciate your help.
Even a small lead or direction would mean a lot.
Thank you for your time!
Hey everyone, I graduated last year from a tier BTech college and have been doing internships(not related to consulting) continuously since then to build experience. Now I want to move into consulting, but I’m confused about the best path forward and what I should focus on to break into the field.
I’m interested in consulting because I enjoy business strategy and problem solving, but I know coming from a non IIT/NIT background can make things more difficult. I wanted to ask people here how someone like me can realistically get into consulting. Should I focus more on networking, certifications, or applying off campus? Also, how important are case interviews, and what’s the best way to prepare for them?
Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has made a similar transition or is currently working in consulting. Thanks!
