Hi there,

I’m a complete beginner and looking for some advice on where to start as it all seems a bit overwhelming!

I’ve got a DSLR Canon EOS 250D and trying work out what is a good telescope to get and take some photos using the DSLR. I would like to try take photos of the planets and stars if possible! I have seen good things about the SeeStar but I would like to try with a telescope in the first instance and really learn!

I would be grateful for any advice getting into this, I’ve heard the Dobsonian 8inch is good and I think I just need to get a camera adapter?

Are there any softwares people recommend as well?
