Is this etiolating?

I’m not sure the name of the cacti species so I can’t look it up — is this etiolation or the natural growing process of the plant? It gets plenty of sun from the west here so I can’t be sure. Gets watered at least once every two weeks in a mix of cactus soil and Bonsai Jack’s.
