My sister-in-law (not Catholic) did a house clean out and asked me if I wanted a bunch of old missals, bibles, catechisms, and other Catholic books. I told her I would take them since my Bible is missing so I will definitely keep the bibles and catechisms but I don't know what I should do with the outdated missals. Since she is not Catholic it was easier for me to tell her to bring the whole lot than to pick and choose what I wanted from the picture she sent me. Can they be disposed of? Or should I give them to my priest. Can I use them for crafts? What should I do since I really do not need more clutter around my house. Thanks for any advice.
