Hisense& Roku soundbar problem

Hi there, I have a Hisense TV probably 7-10 years old, I have a Roku soundbar and they both work well together. I returned home the other day turned on the tv and all was well, the next morning after turning it on the left to right part of the picture was “compressed” and the top to bottom seemed a bit elongated; before any says I should go to the settings and adjust that aspect ratio or whatever it is called, no can do, it’s not to be found; if I disconnect the Roku soundbar from the tv and reconnect y( maybe even unplug the entire setup ) everything goes back to normal. I did that yesterday sore throat great I somehow fixed it even if it was by accident so I go to bed last night come out this morning. Turn the TV back on and guess what problems back so I unplugged the sound bar plug it back in try several different things, but basically all centered around that sometimes it doesn’t work and then I unplugged the whole set up and I stumble and bumble sort of in the ballpark but not exactly doing the same thing and then Walla. I got it to work it done today so I’m not gonna turn the TV off today but I’m betting tomorrow when I turn it back on and done the same problems going to happen. So question is it just a firmware BS type thing is the TV finally gone walking and broke on me I realize it’s a high sense and it was a cheap TV to begin with but if it could be ““ fixed that’s fine but if it can’t, I’ll have to suck it up and go get a new one thanks for being patient with my long winded nurse and I appreciated any responses. Thank you.
