Hello , ive been prone to staph infections in the nose and ever since i used ointment its affected my skin barrier in my nose .

The inside edge of nostrils are so inflamed and dry

My routine was Vaseline but I disturb the skin my rubbing it on and then sometimes staph returns( breaking the skin ) . Also saline spray but obviously due to salt content included it can dry out .
It’s kinda scabby dry . Any help or suggestions would be appreciated , it’s making me v low and losing confidence

Not sure if the weather is also a factor but my nose just been flipped upside down and not sure how to recover the skins natural moistness .
