Hey y’all! Firstly, sorry for writing in English. I can speak/read German well enough, but writing still takes a lot of metal effort and it’s Saturday (I’m lazy). hopefully Reddit translates this okay:

I’ve lived in Germany a bit over a year. Soon after moving here I came across this subreddit and absolutely love it!

I was wondering how you guys find these amazing decaying places? I’m obsessed with how they are frozen in time. I do photography as an artistic outlet, and would definitely love an opportunity to photograph spots like these.

Do you just come across them? Is it a word of mouth thing? Are there certain areas that have more abandoned buildings?
