Looking for a future-proof gaming build (€1000–1500, Germany)

Hello everyone,

As the title suggests, I'm new and looking for advice on a new PC build.

My current pre-built PC, which I bought several years ago, is starting to struggle with modern, graphically demanding games. Because of that, I started looking at PC configurators and pre-built systems, but after comparing prices and components, I've come to the conclusion that building the PC myself will likely give me better value for money.

My budget is between €1000 and €1500, and I'm located in Germany. The PC will be used primarily for gaming, including newer AAA titles.

My current monitor is a Philips 346E2CUAE/00, which has a resolution of 3440×1440 (34" ultrawide), so I'd like the build to be capable of running modern games comfortably at that resolution.

Ideally, I'd like a build that remains relevant for several years and can be upgraded easily in the future. An upgrade-friendly platform would be a big plus, so I can replace individual components later instead of building a completely new PC.

I'm not opposed to using slightly older hardware or buying some components used if that provides better value. My main goal is to get the best performance possible within my budget without spending unnecessary money.

Since I can't attach a screenshot of a pc picker site, these are the parts from the configuration I'm currently considering:

  • Case: Systemtreff Equinox-Air ST-502
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
  • Thermal Paste: Polartherm by Thermal Grizzly
  • CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! Pure Rock 3 Black
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi
  • RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 (Kingston/Corsair)
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB
  • PSU: 650W Be Quiet! System Power 11 B (80+ Bronze)
  • Storage: 1TB Crucial E100 NVMe SSD
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro

Would you change anything about this build? Is there a better value configuration available within my budget, especially considering the 3440×1440 ultrawide resolution?

Thanks in advance!
