Why almost no countries incentive young people to specialize for manual jobs?
I'm speaking about technical school or different degrees that aren't for academia but specifically for working with things like plumbing, repairs, painting (homes and etc) and other simpler jobs like that, why it's always a 4 years bachelor degree that is prioritized even if those jobs are as needed as office jobs?
