Don't buy from HonestMed.
I placed an order with HonestMed on June 2 at 10:34 PM. Shortly after placing the order, I realized that I had purchased the item by mistake and wanted to cancel it. However, there was no cancellation option available on the website. I emailed customer service at 11:12 PM, less than an hour after placing the order, requesting that the order be canceled. On June 3 at 11:25 AM, I received a reply stating that they would try to help but could not guarantee that the cancellation would be successful. Then, at approximately 12:30 PM the same day, the package was shipped. I was told that if the order could not be canceled, I could either refuse delivery or return the package. On the evening of June 3, I checked the UPS website and attempted to refuse the package online. However, there was no tracking information available yet, so I was unable to take any action. The package was delivered on the afternoon of June 4. I did not expect the shipment to arrive so quickly because the website indicated that delivery would occur the following week. On the day of delivery, I received three different packages and accidentally opened this one before realizing what it was. Once the package was opened, I could no longer refuse delivery and was left with no option other than returning it. When I requested a return label, I was informed that I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. I do not believe this is reasonable under the circumstances. I requested cancellation within an hour of placing the order, before it had shipped. The package was processed and delivered much faster than the estimated delivery timeframe shown on the website, leaving me with little opportunity to refuse the shipment. In addition, I already paid the original shipping cost. It was not until the company informed me of the 15% restocking fee that I discovered the policy was buried in a difficult-to-find section of their website. At no point during our email correspondence did they disclose or remind me that returning the package would result in a 15% deduction.
