Would the reaction be the same if Ayana won?
Something that I’ve been seeing lately on Saint Satine/Sakura fan accounts is that they’re saying that if Ayana won over Sakura then “nobody would be talking about the group.”
Do you agree or disagree?
For me, I disagree to some degree. While the discussion around Saint Satine and Sakura winning DID spark major conversation across all social medias, it has been nothing but negative things about the entire situation. You have people bullying and putting down Sakura, everyone making fun of the group name, people expressing their concerns on putting a 16 year old in a group full of adults and people saying they’re “no longer” supporting the group.
Therefore, I think it’s very backhanded for the St. Satine fandom to say such as if they’re happy that the group is receiving criticism. I DO think Ayana winning may not be AS conversational, I do think her winning will actually bring in more fans, more positive reactions and people actually tuning in and supporting the group.
I would love to hear more thoughts about this!
