When I move an application window from one workspace to another, it tiles it vertically (it was horizontal in previous gnome based version). This is really annoying me as when I want to move across multiple workspaces, it takes so many step (also I almost never use vertical tiled applications as it's less practical than having 2 windows side by side horizontally). Can this be somehow changed?

Another thing, is there any way to create a new workspace to the top/left (start), like in the previous version.
