I honestly think he was very good. Of all animators he came the closest to Kenneth Muse. He so did a good job on giving Tom and Jerry more cute designs. Overall just the second best animator of the original era next to Muse.

In case you have a question about how the style from a specific animator looks, just ask! I’ll show you an example from a short from 1947-1951! Note that I won't do any shorts earlier than 1947 because the designs looked different before that and later than 1951, since they started degrading the designs after that.
