What ever happened to SpongeBob, and Gone episode discussion.

  1. So, I’m sure you know both of these episodes as a SpongeBob fan. But If you don’t, I’ll explain it anyways because I feel like ranting. what ever happened to SpongeBob was an episode where everyone called him “idiot boy”, for making a mistake he did not INTENTIONALLY make. I excepted Squidward, and MAYBE Mr. Krabs to say it, but not Sandy and Patrick. ————>

———>(1. Continued) I still can’t understand the fact that Patrick had called SpongeBob IDIOT boy, considering he IS the most stupidest person in Bikini Bottom. The second episode, gone, is an episode where SpongeBob wakes up to everyone in the Bikini Bottom gone. And throughout the episode, he’s really missing everyone, and goes a bit nuts. At the end, everyone comes back, saying that it was “National no SpongeBob day”. Honestly, through both of these episodes, I was so mad at the rest of the characters. Especially on what ever happened to SpongeBob, I can heavily relate to when someone calls you an idiot for making a mistake you didn’t mean to make. And because he was trying to help everyone out, and all he got in return was anger and backlash from his own friends. Even though they apologized by the end of the episode, it still frustrates me that they still yelled at him for making a mistake. But after he’s gone, they finally realize how much they needed him (well…except Squidward..).

  1. In the gone episode, what everyone did was messed up. Like I get it, SpongeBob is annoying and destroys the town almost every episode, but to just have a full day dedicated to leaving him all alone then directly telling him after?? That just makes me mad. You could atleast be avoiding him while he’s being annoying (EXCEPT for Squidward, he literally never can), but otherwise? Yes. This literally sounds like something only Squidward, Mrs. Puff, and Plankton would attend, not everyone else. How do you guys feel about these episodes?

What is your favorite from SpongeBob, and why?

I’ll start, mine is SpongeBob because despite his character being portrayed as annoying, SpongeBob has a really positive aspect on life that I respect. And of course he gets mad sometimes, everybody has to get mad at some point, it’s emotion, I also like how they have him show other emotions of him too other than just happiness to show that he isn’t always just positive. SpongeBob cares about his friends, and makes them happy (Especially in the episode where SpongeBob goes back and forth, trying to help everybody even though he’s pressured and doesn’t want to disappoint them). Even the characters who seem to hate him (not really though), Squidward, Plankton, Mrs. Puff), still show compassion for him and care about him. SpongeBob went ALL out of his way in the first movie to get the crown and to save Mr. Krabs, even when he said all that stuff about SpongeBob just being a kid. In the second movie, SpongeBob tries to tell plankton the importance of being a team, and working together as friends to accomplish something big. Towards the end, Plankton ends up staying on SpongeBobs team, denying the pirates offer, even though he could have taken the opportunity, I think SpongeBob really taught plankton the true meaning of friendship and teamwork. Even though SpongeBob is annoying, in the older seasons it’s hilarious how annoying he is (and in the mid-older seasons). SpongeBob goes for his passion, and is very confident about at-least trying (referring to the first episode), even though Patrick gave him a talk before when SpongeBob was doubting to do it, SpongeBob still did an excellent job at doing his job and staying on task. I think SpongeBob is a very unique character, his positivity, his ability to be an adult that acts like a kid, his goofiness, and his goals as a character. When things get hard, SpongeBob doesn’t give up (and including a little pep talk from someone to bring back his spirits), he keeps on going.
