alternatives for the Fujifilm x10
(I hope I'm asking this in the right sub)
First off, I want to say that I am just a person who likes to take pictures and experiment at best, I'm just an amateur; I don't know a whole lot about theory and settings, etc. I've always just liked making photos on old iPhones (which may sound weird, but I really like the camera on them), and a few months ago I bought the Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo Zwart. A cheap and amateurish camera, but I really liked the style of it and the film simulation/filters. I am now searching for something better since the Instax Mini Evo doesn't really make that high quality pictures and you can't really zoom in with it. I had my eye on the Fujifilm X10 because of the small compact size and the look of the photos it makes, now there is one problem. These things' prices are out of the roof, and the only place I can buy this thing is on secondhand websites where they sell for around 500-600 (which is absolutely ridiculous since it's almost even higher than when it came out). Now I am searching for alternatives with the same style and vibe. I know cameras are expensive, but I really don't have a lot of budget (around €400-600). Do you guys know anything similar that is worth paying the price for?
Budget: €400-600
Country: The Netherlands
Condition: Used, refurbished or new
Type of Camera: Mainly looking for a compact point-and-shoot, but open to other types if they have a similar Fujifilm film vibe
Intended use: Photography
End use: Personal memories/photo albums
If photography: what style: Travel, friends/portraits, landscapes and everyday life
If video what style:
What features do you absolutely need: Digital camera, film simulations/film-like look
What features would be nice to have: Built-in flash, viewfinder, compact size/not too thick
Portability: Preferably compact and easy to carry around
Cameras you're considering: Fujifilm X10 because of the compact size and the look/style of the photos it makes
Cameras you already have: Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo Zwart — I like the style and film simulations/filters, but dislike the image quality and lack of zoom
Notes: I'm an amateur and mostly just enjoy experimenting and taking photos casually. I also really like the look of photos taken on older iPhones.
