I start my first ever internship on Tuesday, March 26. Eid, a Muslim holiday, falls on the very next day. How do I go about calling off work? Should I even or should I just suck it up and go? I don’t wanna start off on the wrong foot. Thanks in advance!
Hi! I start my internship on 5/26. So far I’ve done all the onboarding documents and information, drug test, etc. I have yet to get any information about my first day. This is my first internship so I’m unsure how the timeline is for these types of things. I have my offer letter which includes start time and location. Should I wait another week or so before reaching out? And if I email for logistics, who is better to contact, my supervisor or my internship coordinator? What should I ask in the email? I already emailed my HR contact a bit for my onboarding and I don’t wanna be annoying. Thanks in advance!
