I’ve taken some shrubs out of this garden recently, as it was all a bit overgrown.

It’s now looking (obviously) a bit barren, and the weeds are already creeping in with all the rain we’ve been getting. So, I’d like to replant to cover a bit more of the ground area.

Something clean and tidy, low maintenance, maybe half a metre to a metre tall at most. Flowers preferable but optional, greenery a must.

Located in Brisbane. Thoughts?
