So I just started a job a couple weeks ago full time 10-6:30, M-F. I usually work 8-4/9-5 shifts but as I get older it’s harder to maintain the entire shift due to a medical condition/disability. I wanted to at least try to do those hours but I’m struggling. I haven’t been here even a month and I’m scared to ask for a modified schedule accommodation from 40-30 hours a week because she hired me to close.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
