Weird peak splitting

Weird peak splitting

Hi,

I have an HNMR spectrum of compound that most likely looks like this (Pic 1), my qusetion is regarding the peak splitting patterns in the Imidazole part, they don't really look like doublets, even though the two neighbouring hydrogens shouold create that. Is the weird splitting pattern caused by interactionss with both nitrogeen and fluorine in my molecule? On the picturse the peaks are in order 3, 2, 1 (I believe at least)

These peaks are confirmed to be singlets (don't show up in COSY), and all have value of integral 1, compard to methoxy group integral of value 3

My supervisor explained to me he they are multiplets, but the two of spin states overlap ang then go beyond each other(?)

If there's anyone here that would be able to explain to me why are these peaks split in this way I'd be very grateful

Thanks
