🌧️🐠 Snorkeling on a rainy day in Miyakojima 🏝️

One thing I noticed while guiding tours with I Love Miyakojima: many guests, especially from mainland China, immediately want to change dates, reschedule, or even cancel when they see rain in the forecast 😅

But honestly... I don't get it.

The ocean is beautiful rain or shine 🌊

Miyako Blue still exists on cloudy and rainy days 💙

Yes, the fish and coral colors are slightly less vivid, but underwater is still magical ✨

And let's be real... we're getting wet anyway 😂

Sometimes the rain even feels refreshing after snorkeling.

What I love about Miyakojima is that many beaches remain natural. No massive facilities, no endless showers, no overdevelopment. The locals try to preserve the raw beauty of the island instead of turning every beach into a tourist attraction 🌿

So it was genuinely refreshing to guide this amazing positive-minded couple from mainland China a few days ago 🙌🇨🇳

No complaints. No negativity. Just smiles and appreciation for the experience despite the rain.

See for yourself - rainy day snorkeling is still absolutely beautiful underwater 🐟

Life isn't only sunshine ☀️

It's clouds ☁️ rain 🌧️ and everything in between.

If you know how to enjoy the moment, any weather can become a good memory ❤️

Can't make it to Yuninohama because of ocean conditions? 🏝️

Don't panic 😎🌊

There's another beautiful hidden spot waiting for you 👇

Ask your drone guide to take you to Phantom Beach near Ikema Bridge — on the right side just before crossing the bridge 🏝️✨

The best part?

You don't need a boat or SUP to reach this dreamy sandbar during low tide 🙌

✅ Check the tide table before you go

✅ Wear beach shoes if possible

✅ Use the stairs at the end of the parking area near the bridge

✅ Walk carefully around the cliffs to reach the sandbar

Your drone pilot can film everything directly from the parking area 🎥 or you can simply enjoy and take your own unforgettable photos 📸

Miyakojima is full of hidden gems — especially if you have your own transportation and explore with Google Maps in satellite mode 🗺️❤️

Adventure is everywhere on this island 🌈🌴
