Hayward Heater - IF error fix help

I'm getting an "IF" error code and when I looked it up, many people here and elsewhere suggested it could be spider webs in the gas orifices. I'm not great with this stuff, but figured I could try and diy before getting a service call. I shut off gas and electricity and was able to take off the bottom bar and clean #2 and #3, but hole #1 won't come out without far enough and I'm not going to try bending anything too far. I have to move the circle part (sorry - not technical names from me) and the gas line is pretty fixed on the outside and I don't see a way to detach the part in the circle in order to move the black tube more so I get get a wire in and clean the #1 orifice. Any suggestions? Or am I out of my league and should get a tech in to check it out? (Knowing it might not even be the spider web thing...might be something else. Just thought I'd try that before dropping $$$ for the service call.)

Thanks.
