Retaker Working Full-time Seeking Advice

Hey all,

I failed Feb 26 by about 23 points. I had tricky circumstances (mom in hospice eventually passing away and moving her to the DR bc that was her wish) so I essentially began my bar prep around the new year bc of the disruptions.

This time around, I’m working full time and while I wish I could take the time off, I simply cannot afford to. My mom’s illness plus me moving depleted most of my savings. It’s just the circumstances that I got and I’ve prepared myself to bust my ass the next few weeks.

I do plan to take the two weeks off leading to the exam. I am working a legal job but I don’t have any cases, I’m essentially just screening cases and my hours are set for the most party and sometimes I have down time to study. I just want to know if this is a bad idea? I’ve seen many people on this thread work full time and pass and would really appreciate any tips and guidance. I have barbri, GOAT and adaptibar for materials.

I’ll also mention that I did work full time while attending school part time.

Thanks in advance and good luck to all July takers!
