More practice swings
Good hitting session yesterday only went about 70%, worked more oppo yesterday and I’ll post that video soon as well!

The bp is really paying off I went 7-14 and although that’s .500 all but 3 of my outs were balls I cut really hard that I just wasn’t fortunate enough to get through a gap and had 3 pop ups (I’m human and it’s gonna happen) but I’m really happy to see my work paying off, I came up and showed out when it mattered the most and helped my team get 3rd. Had a game winning base hit to put us in the winner bracket finals but unfortunately the rest of the team ran out of gas. The game we lost to send us home I went 3-3 with 3 rbis but it wasn’t enough.
Knew what I needed to work on since last tournament and I can confidently say this will be a breakout weekend for me at the plate.
Starting to feel really good about my swing and progress
Been working a lot off the tee to get my mechanics how I want them, about ready to get back into some live bp and pop toss
Quick video to show an update, been working on a more relaxed and natural stance has been feeling good and I think my mechanics are improving daily 🤘🏻
I picked up with a pretty respectable tournament team in my area today since my team decided to take the weekend off. Well the team I play on is very well known in our space and is consistently told we need to be playing up a level (we’re not sandbagging this is just most of our first year playing so we play rec and are expecting to bump next year). So this team asked me to play with them and I said yes I love playing whenever I can, well I went 0-7 with 2 weak roll overs and 5 solid lime drives honestly right too people and I just feel like not only did I embarrass myself but give my team a bad rep. I wasn’t being a jerk and having bad sportsmanship or attitude but it just seems as if the team I play on is held to a pretty high standard so it’s just bothering me that I couldn’t buy a base hit today in a game that’s theoretically easy. Does anyone have any advice to help me get out of this slump and out of my own head?
Nothing really complicated or fancy but has definitely made the pitches more realistic and I’m getting more distance
I know you guys are sick of my videos but I thought this was super cool lol if you guys want I’ll take more pictures of it tmr and show you exactly how I made it
Not the hardest hit balls but my most consistent day with good contact a win is a win
I have a lot of fun showing the pop toss and live bp sessions but this is where I really developed my swing, around 2-3 what I would consider good rounds before I ever bring a machine out is hitting the ball in the same spot and having the same result in the net every time, still a work in progress turning this into my live swing but for everyone curious how I changed my swing so fast this is how. And honestly there’s been nothing fast about the process, just smooth slow reps until it sticks.
Team had a bad day so I unfortunately didn’t get as many at bats as I would’ve liked to give a real assessment. Got walked once, hit a bloop single and hit one to the pitcher. Mechanics were good and what I wanted but unfortunately having a timing issue. Prob gonna only work off the tee and live bp this week to try and get that down! Not mad bc changing your swing is a process not an overnight fix but ik a lot of you were wondering
Got a big tournament tmr im ready to see my hard work pay off!
I’ve worked on my mechanics a lot but the one thing i KNOW I need to work on is pitch selection, definitely know I’m gonna get flamed for it but hey just gotta do better next time! Really not too upset for only my second actual live bp session since learning my new swing. Also only 3 weeks into it so please bare with me
Had my worst day hitting in a long time but wanted to show you guys anyways just to show I’m still working and trying everyday. It’s part of learning though gonna have good and bad days
I genuinely appreciate all of the support and feedback I get from you guys and I enjoy talking to you all daily. As you can tell I post on here nearly every day to show how my swing is coming along but I’ve never shown where it started so I’m posting how my swing is coming together after really putting my all into it!
Had a good but short session today!
Some tee work and pop toss work today, I’m trying to incorporate the leg kick into my pop toss sessions but the ball gets to me too quick, also trying to start with my hands up so I can go straight to the ball!
I realized after the second swing I wasn’t swinging for anything and decided I was gonna try to hit middle the rest of the round and I’m surprised how much it worked
